Transition to Digital IO Sphere

Ipad, Nook, and KindleTo comply with the DOD mandate to reduce the cost of print journals, the IO Sphere will no longer be issued in hardcopy after September 2012. IO Sphere articles will be hosted on this site, as well as be converted into as many downloadable digital reading formats as practical; e.g., Kindle, Nook, and various Apple and Android products. As Microsoft has discontinued their e-reader software, we have not converted to their format; however, support capability remains, so we are willing revisit this if sufficient demand exists. Digital versions for use on these e-reader platforms will be available starting with the Winter 2012 issue. Available formats can be found in the Library page of this site, and instructions for loading the IO Sphere to your device are on the Loading Instructions page.

Subscribing to the IO Sphere can be accomplished using our subscription form where there are additional options, including direct distribution to your e-reader device should you desire this service.
Additionally, we have developed a page with an e-form and instructions for submitting articles for publication.

Finally, reader feedback is not only welcomed, but essential for evolving iosphere.org into the best site possible. We will be creating a custom suggestion form in the near future; however, meantime, if you have a suggestion for improving the site or the journal, please leave a comment.

We thank you for your continued interest and look forward to hearing from you.
